Fiesta Party Tips

Amols' party experts have some great decorating ideas and tips to help you pull off the greatest Fiesta party ever.

1. Flower-filled pinata centerpiece

This works great with our Deluxe Horse Pinata, Deluxe Burrito Pinata.

Take a bunch of our hand-made Mexican paper flowers and stick the flowers into the back of the horse or burrito pinata. 4 to 6 flowers should be enough to create a large and festive centerpiece.

2. Giant tortilla chips serving tray

Our Mexican Colored Edge Sombrero makes a fun tortilla chips serving tray. The best thing about this tip is that there is "no assembly required". Place the sombrero on your party table and add the tortilla chips inside the brim, all around the hat. The edge is tall and sturdy enough to hold the chips. If you want, you can line the inside of the brim with some of our colorful tissue paper. Your guests will love this!

3. Basic Southwestern Guacamole

This Guacamole recipe is easy to prepare. To make sure the Guacamole is really fresh, we suggest making it within an hour of serving. Add plastic wrap directly on to the surface of the guacamole and refrigerate until serving time.

2 large ripe avacados, peeled and mashed (don't forget to take out the seed, duh!)
1/4 cup of your favorite hot sauce ("salsa" or "pico de gallo" if you speak the language)
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt

Combine all of the ingredients. Mix very well, until your arm falls off. If time permits you may chill the guacamole in the refrigerator for a little while. You now have the perfect Fiesta party dip.
