Fiesta Wreaths

Posted February 23rd, 2022

Fiesta San Antonio is a huge 10 day,  city wide festival in San Antonio that usually starts around the third week of April. This celebration originated in 1891 when a large  flower parade was held to commemorate the heroes of the battles of the Alamo and San Jacinto.

There are many Fiesta traditions. Among the most popular are hanging Fiesta Wreaths. Over the past decade, Fiesta Wreaths have exploded in popularity. In the weeks leading up to Fiesta (normally the 3rd week of April), San Antonio comes alive and is exploding with color.  Just about everybody loves decorating with a Fiesta Wreath.  You will see them on the front doors, gates, and fences of homes, hanging on the walls of restaurants, as well as offices, retail stores, and all types of commercial establishments.

Our Fiesta Wreaths are available in a variety of sizes, from small 8” wreaths that are perfect for a classroom decoration to gigantic 40” wreaths for large gates or windows. Most wreaths will include our colorful, handmade paper or plastic flowers, beautiful hanging flora-satin ribbons, and colorful mesh.

All of our wreaths are created by hand by our skilled artists, with great attention to detail. Traditional Fiesta decorations such as mini pinatas, small velvet sombreros, tin ornaments, or serapes are added to the wreaths to give them a unique look.
